Nest Box Installation & Monitoring

Nest boxes provide critical habitat for arboreal mammals and bird species, particularly in areas where natural tree hollows are limited. At Resilience, we install and monitor species-specific nest boxes in accordance with development consent conditions and biodiversity management requirements.

We supply durable, high-quality nest boxes designed to support target species such as possums, gliders, microbats, and birds. Installations are strategically planned, taking into account orientation, predator access, and habitat suitability to ensure effective use and long-term ecological function.

To support lasting outcomes, Resilience also provides Nest Box Management Plans (NBMPs), along with ongoing monitoring and maintenance services to ensure nest boxes remain functional and continue to meet biodiversity objectives over time.
